'Ey Mon, Come to da Beach

Jesus isn't happy when families are divided. Did he know it was gonna happen? Yes, he's omni..something or other. He knew the Gospel message would give people a choice to accept him or to reject him. But as I explained on Dan's blog he expects us to stay married with one another(even if one is lost) in order to lead them to Christ. He expects us to be at peace with all men. And just an extra one I'll throw in for free, "be ye kind one to another, especially unto those of the household of the faith." The reason he wants us to treat"the household of the faith" so well is so those on the outside of the church will see how we love one another, and be "jealous" and want to join us. We might fail at that way too much, but blame Christians, not our Creator.

I will now make the claim that Christianity is actually the most inclusive and least bigoted group you can ever be a part of. Eph. 2:14 says that he has made both groups one. (by raising from the dead). Who are these 2 groups? They were the Jews and the Gentiles.(that's everybody) Now mix in a little Gal.3:28 that says "there is neither Jew nor Greek, their is neither slave or free man, neither male or female, for you are all one in Christ. Christianity isn't based on what we can offer God. Or how rich we are, or how handsome we are, (In my case that's just a coincidence). And Christianity sure in hell isn't reserved just for those who are "good". Let me tell you what John says he saw in the book of Revelation during the end times about what the "Christians" look like. "After these things I looked, a great multitude, which no one could count, from every nation, and all tribes and people and tounges standing before the throne and the lamb..."

Yes, Christians can be bad people, and do horrible things, be judgemental, and be "unforgiving" and hypocritical etc. But if I'm to be forced to draw a line in the sand, all I can say is that I'm gonna stand on the side that Jesus is standing on.

Shalom, feeno

Was the word you thinking of, myHomie?

"Did he know it was gonna happen? Yes,"

I find its easy to see it actually happening too.Its in full view! so easy, different churches speckle the horizon everywhere!!.Crazy mad people fighting over religion.

Does that mean i be, H omni too?

Man real homies dont need any special church walls to gather in.

"He knew the Gospel message would give people a choice to accept him or to reject him."

How you know ? .Homie never wrote the book!...Some dudes who obviously like to also divide and control and get other folks money, more likely did.Look around, thats exactly what they been doing.

We can tell they did by the way riddlers bible actually still manages to confuse and divide so very many,we can see faithful folks still dividing and starting more and more "new named churces" each and "every" year.Like they been doing for "thousands" of years now. That silly idiotic work of man for sure.

I must be homie too huh?.It easy for me to see too :"He knew the Gospel message would give people a choice to accept him or to reject him."

They reject him all right..Wrote a book and added all sorts of gibberish in it..Filled it with customs and lots of bullc**p etc. Why? ..So it becomes a cash cow for milking thats why

Sound quite good as backgound sound system.Electric organ?

But you faithful folk go and make it not be "everyone" simply by taking "the everyone" inside your frilly church walls.

Background sound really not so good really in long run, live concert much much better!!.

    "people and tounges "

    I got cheeky tounge,any good?

"But if I'm to be forced to draw a line in the sand, all I can say is that I'm gonna stand on the side that Jesus is standing on."

I prefer make huge castle for everyone, not just draw silly line in sand.I think Jesus likely find just drawing line in sand be boring too.

Line in sand, and one folk on this side other on that side over there, not much fun feeno.

I feel so good about myself, and I'm all proud when I get finished with a new post. I think to myself, Ahhh... job weel done, now what could an Atheist possible say to challenge my knowledge and wisdom? Then you come flyin' in here dismantling my arguments once again.

But now you've given me inspiration for yet another post that couldn't possibly be refuted. But I'll let this one run it's course a day or two, then maybe Thurs. I'll break out the big guns on you?

If John and Kate were on different sides of our hypothetical line in the sand, I'd be curious to know, whose side you standin' on. Don't give me some politically correct answer either, that's some boo shit. Me, I'm standing with Kate.

Good lookin out big G, feeno

Isnt it interesting? People from countries whose institutions were founded by Christians cry and pout about how bad Christians are but if they tried that crap in a Muslim country they'd probably be beheaded.

JD Curtis your argument is kind of like arguing "roll your own tobacco" is somewhat worse than "filter tip ciggarettes".

So that somehow makes filter tip ciggerettes quite fine and dandy.

What kind of sad arsed bullshit type argument is that??..What does it serve to prove??..A feeble type debate which will try putting forward any old silly idea it finds, just so long as it can try and escape ever simply admit yes maybe somethings really wrong somewhere ...That makes you feel Proud?.

But i dont mind .I simply slam dunk them...Its usually easy because they most often only filled with riddles and sly trickery .

Feeno who is John and Kate ?..

Its modern "reasoning" and man being much more inteligent & educated these days and less superstitious etc, which makes it so much easier to see through alot of the religious rubbish feeno.

We can soon learn and tell when "faith beliefs" can be seen as only really being mans imaginations.

If it wasnt that fact. Many other "faith beliefs" that were once around in our old world too, would still be here even today also.

I knew after I asked you about John and Kate that you'd have no Idea what or who I was talking about. You crazy old Bush-bugger.

They are a couple who were married, couldn't get pregnant, got help from modern science, had twins, then a couple years later tried again, had 6 kids all at once, got a TV show and book deals and made lots of money. Now we are watching them spiral out of control as the money and fame has ruined their marriage as accusations of elicit sexual affairs and disappearing money from bank accounts etc., let the mudslinging begin between the two, all
while their kids are home with a Nanny.

Money doesn't change you, it magnifies what you really are.

  6. Gandolf, is English your first language? The reason I ask is because sometimes it's difficult to follow what you mean.

Oh ok.Might have seen something on the news.Did once see some single mom from the U.S.A who used modern science, and got a whole waddle of kids all at once.Science is not so much the problem in these cases though. There will be other cases where folks are doing fine, and science has helped them.Sometimes people just overstep the line a bit its all still part of learning though, why is it really so different to such things as our learning whether we should stone folks to death or not.Or whether its ok to have blood transfusions or in some special cases its better for a couple to devorce. The bible is part of a written history of humans evolving living and deciding on their morals and laws.

The problem is religion gets stuck in custom and mythical faith, because many of the stories are imagination and fantasia passed on as that of the divine.Because these laws/morals are not set so much in pure reason and absolute truth, being so often bound in religious fantasia they lack certain abilities to change.

As soon as humans went ahead and canonized the bible thats when they blew it forthemselves, they forever closed its previous ability to continue to discover and factually evolve. The transitional adaptions like which had been once seen between the stoning to death and then the not stoning to death of people, could never ever be seen again.Their deceit and pride in wanting it ALL classed as a totally honest divine word of god, rather than amitting much within was still imagination and fantasia or guess work hopefully with some divine guidence also involved. From that point of cannonization on, it was bound to prove itself wrong and of mostly being mostly mere work of man sooner or later.

Think about it for a sec or two feeno. If the bible had been unable to evolve from the stoning to the non stoning. How long do you think the faith would have been around? .Not long id say.

JD talked about Muslim being tougher etc, what he forgets is even though its still light years behind us in evolving the beliefs. There is people getting upset and reacting through being sick of the laws bound by Islam religion, even in the muslim countries as well these days.

"Money doesn't change you, it magnifies what you really are"

Almost want to say i agree,so i dont seem like i always disagree about everything you say Feeno.I do agree with you sometimes. And i do agree money can magnify.

But i cant help feeling sometimes money does change folks as well.Ive seen a number of situations where money has almost destroyed peoples lives, they changed and their friends often changed toward them also. But it depends because some folk make good use of it too,and it leads them on to very good lives also

Ive never had much of a hankering for mega money, and when i sell stuff or do contract work for folks im often a bit of a soft touch and more interested in giving folks a fair deal.I sleep better at night knowing i havent fleeced people.

There are a number of multi millionaires in my family and extended family, though i havent been around them i still know enough and have heard from others what they are like. They are a embarrasment to me,the type who would even take a old lady for her whole life savings if they can. Many of them are church goers too.

Ive done odd jobs for older folks around here sometimes, my problem is i like doing it for free when i can and get a buzz out of not charging the oldies. The only problem is ive found the oldies then tend to refrain from ringing me for more help.Even though i explain im thanking them for the wars they fought or the roads they built with pick and shovel etc.

Well JD im not sure what to do about that problem.I happen to discuss things with plenty of other folks and havent had many/any others complaining.I note even feeno and myself are also able to work out ways to understand each others thoughts.

If its you are trying to find a way to dent my pride or something, feel free to try doing so.Im not much interested in being much of a proud type,i dont mind taking the lowly ground.Because from that lower ground i can always rip drag and smack the proud back down a few pegs when ever needed.Thats the real bonus of being quite happy low down.

The higher we get to feeling about "ourselves",the further we then have to fall see.And a proud mind is a lot like a old mind it spends far to much time "thinking"oh how wonderful am i,where as a lowly mind stays young and nimble allowing thoughts to far more freely flow.

For instance look at both your last two arguments put forward, dont they seem kinda picky and ad hominem .Full of the old boo hoo woe is me,im being "hard done" by here. Its not fair cause i cant understand him, or if he was in a muslim country boo hoo he would then know how lucky he is.

Its a emotional argument, lacking alot in the reason deparment though isnt it.Emotional arguments most often still need the reasoning part with them as well.So as to be built on real solid ground.

JD does it make you feel prouder sounding snobby questioning the quality of somebodys language?.Does your god prefer the smart arse toffy nosed educated type folk more?.

  9. I have a little Gandolphethecity inside me. If I do a little repair for some "oldies" I usually either have them bake me some cookies or have them give me a sack of home grown tomatoes.

The lady you refered to as the waddler, well she is actually another lady. They call her Octomom (8 kids at once) and she is trying to hook up with the "John" guy now from John and Ka.... nevermind it's just hurts to much to think about.
